iFrame Embedder plugin to add iframe content on WordPress

Adding Factory Incentives to Your WordPress Site

Iframing content is something that you want to avoid whenever possible on your site, especially with key content. However there are times that will require you to use the iframe technique. A few circumstances that come up on car dealer websites are factory incentives and service appointment schedulers.

This screen shot is what we will be adding to a WordPress site in the following video. Just about every manufacture has a similar page that is designed to be iframed into a car dealers website.

Incentives

The following video will walk you through how to add iframe content on WordPress in the form of Toyota factory incentives to your site.

Xtime is another popular tool that gets framed into sites quite a bit. If you ever thought of having a site for just your service department, you could create one with WordPress and add a scheduler like Xtime using the iframe plugin. You can also build your own form using Gravity Forms as described in in this post;

    This was helpful for Toyota, but I can’t find ANY other manufacturers that set up their incentives this way. Specifically, I am looking for Chevy/GMC, Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram, Ford/Lincoln, and VW. Any way you could help with those Iframes? Thanks!

      Hello Jessica,

      I would have to do some digging, but at one point just about all of the manufactures had an iframe page that could be used with either a zip code or dealer id. With WordPress it is also possible to pull incentive information from the factory blogs via rss/atom feeds.

    Jessica, what is your ultimate goal? Do you want a single page of rebates/incentives, content for a blog, or something else?

      A single page of rebates/incentives.

        We have been using AIS rebates for most of our dealers over the last 6 months so that prices can reflect the rebate(s), and they offer a “one sheet” that can be iframed in. I looked around some and it seems that most of the vendors/manufactures have gotten away from the iframed rebates. I updated the post to reflect :) .

        Thank you for your input.
